Thank you for this!! I love it! Gorgeous colors! What size head does this fit? Just wondering. I can’t wait to make one for nieces, nephews and cousins!! You rock! ๐
Its for toddlers, 1-3 years of age. Might fit even older kids too ๐
My daughter turns four next month and it still fits her. Yay! Thank you so cute!
Hello I was wondering, can I please get a pattern for this totally cute hat and the baby size one as well? Thanks SO MUCH if your able to send it via email address provided.
Please put in SUBJECT “FREE SOCK MONKEY PATTERN” (if you can send it to me…. ty sooooo much!)
Try clicking the print or pdf file located at the bottom of the post. You may have to click the left side of the button to avoid the pin it button. Working on getting that fixed. Let me know how that works. ๐
I love this darling pattern. But can not get it to print. Could you Please email me this pattern, I be would much appreciated.
Click the left side of the button. I will be fixing the issue with the pin it option popping up soon. Or you could hit CTRL P. Let me know if that doesnt work for you.
I love this pattern! I have adapted it to fit my elementary age kids and I used thier school colors instead of making the monkey face. They love their hats! Thanks for the pattern!
That is awesome! <3!
Would love to to be able to print this pattern for my own personal use but can’t hi-lite it. Why???
You can wither hit CTRL P or you can select the print icon at the bottom of the post. You may have to select the left side of the print icon so that the “pin it” doesn’t get in the way.
I made this for my 14 month old for Halloween because she LOVES sock monkeys and she won’t take the hat off. I got tons of compliments on it and am pretty sure it will be used at least through the rest of the winter. Thanks! And do you have any way I can upload a pic of mine?
https://www.facebook.com/stitch11page?bookmark_t=page please share the pics on my fb page! ๐
oh and I bet the hat will fit until she is 3 ๐
Hi Corina! These are the cutest sock monkey hats and I’ve had people come to moogly just to tell me how great all your sock monkey patterns are! So this morning’s post on moogly includes a link to this one specifically: http://www.mooglyblog.com/10-free-crochet-sock-monkey-patterns/
<3 Thank you Tamara <3
What about adults? Have you upsized it for us yet? ๐
I haven’t… yet ๐ But really you could use any adult earflap hat and then use the face and ears from the child size version…. or use maybe a .5 hook size larger on the child size version ๐
Hi. I was just wondering if you had an adult alteration for the sock monkey hat?
I would make the child size but with one more row in length before doing the ear flaps. It was a loose hat so there is def room to be an adult with a little length. https://stitch11.memberhost.io/child-size-sock-monkey-hat/
I absolutely love your sock monkey hat patterns. They came out really cute. I know everyone keeps asking or an adult one and I am going to try to just lengthen the child hat. I just wanted to add my request for an adult pattern and to thank you for sharing your awesome pattern!!!
Made this for my 11 month old granddaughter and her cousin who is 3 weeks older for Christmas…now her aunts want me to make each of them one…they were a HIT! Used cross stitch for the eyes because of the babies age and how everything goes into their mouths, but was an easy to follow pattern…now to find adult sizes ๐
