Hi….im love your work… i will make this hat for my toddler girl… thanks for your pattern…
I don’t understand the instructions for Row 41. Do you fold it over?
well, it kind of folds over on its own when you do it (bunches up.) Hope that help a little.
Neither do I, how do you single crochet from row 41 into row 38?
do you do 1 sc in the sides of the hdc or 2 sc in each when going around neck of hat?
Im pretty sure I just did one SC
Great site you have here Corina. I love this hood! I am pinning it to my things I wanna crochet board. This would be perfect for keeping heads warm in the winter time. It looks like it would provide plenty of coverage. 🙂
Thanks!! I made two of them and gave them to my nieces (since my daughter refused to wear it) But I have given them so many hats I am not even sure if they have worn theirs lol
Wonderful hat Corina..The colors are so eye-catching.
I am trying to make one for my niece .
I am just a beginner so it would be great if you mention the finished size(head size and length) and the gauge
Thanks
vino
I do not have the hat anymore to measure it. I can tell you that it fit both my toddler and my niece who is 4.
I would say it is a large toddler or small child size hat.
I love this pattern so much! It’s adorable and extremely versatile, with just a few extra rows you can make it for older children, teens, and even adults ^_^
Has anyone figured out a way to make this in infant (3-6 months) size?? I have an order for one and am trying to figure out the best way to scale it down. Thanks
Thank you for sharing this cute pattern. It took me only a few hours to make and i cant wait to try it on my little girl tomorrow morning.
Thank you so much for this Pattern! My three year old Granddaughter wanted a rainbow hat so bad. We searched everywhere for one. Thanks to your free pattern I’m making her one now. Very clear instructions. Thank you again, Teena
