Are you a Disney fan too? For the longest time, I have been wanting to make a bow that looks like a Minnie Mouse bow. Finally today, I broke out my graph paper and drew her bow the best I could. Then I tried to draw it as a flat piece and realized it would be a lot simpler to put together than I imagined! This free crochet bow pattern measures 5.5 inches wide.

What do you think? Is this crochet bow pattern Minnie approved?
You can also make these bows using worsted/medium-weight yarn and a 5MM/H crochet hook like Aledria Lay Brown did! Thanks so much for sharing your photo Aledria!
So cute! Thanks for the pattern, will make a couple of these for sure for my daughter!
Love it! thanks! it is just why my amigurumi bunny needed!
What a great idea!
Just made your bowe
I would love to see it!! 😀 https://www.facebook.com/stitch11page?bookmark_t=page
Love this bow! I’ve tried so many and they’re never as perfect as this one! Do u think it could be done with two stands of ww? Thanks for all of the great patterns!
Yes! It can be done with any yarn.. or two strands held together. Just make sure you use the appropriate hook size for how thick or thin the yarn is 🙂
I just made this with crochet thread size 3. It measures out to be 2 1/2″ by 1 1/2″. Nice size for a hair bow for a baby or toddler. Love the pattern.
I made a second one and it came out longer about 3 inches. I might have left out one of the rows 6 & 7 the first time. But they both look good.
I have looked for one of these before! Thanks for the awesome pattern!!!
Thank you for the pattern! This is exactly what I was looking for =D
LOVE it thank you so much! I was wondering though, the biggest hook I have to work with is an I, is there any way i can make the bow bigger?
Just by adding more increase rows 🙂 And for every increase row you will want to add a decrease row with the other decreases.
I am new to crochet and self taught. I’m super confused with the edging. Do I SC around the entire bow or just the last row? Thank you in advanced for the help!
The entire bow 🙂 One SC into the side of each stitch, 2 on the corners. 🙂
How would you HDC-2- TOG? Or DC-2-TOG? Yarn over and put your hook through two HDC OR TWO DC? That how I understand it heh.
Yes. They have really good tutorials on YouTube.
This the best bow pattern! Thank you so much. Glad to see the website back up 🙂 I made headwraps for my daughter’s trip to Disneyland and needed to finish a second bow.
Would love a youtube tutorial. 😉
This bow is gorgeous…>♡<
Thank you! 😀
I hope to someday be able to buy all the equipment to put videos online. 😀
Trying to make this in triple size. No luck so far! If I figure it out I will fill you in but this is the perfect bow!!!
I was wondering if you might have a video on how to make this, I’m having some difficulty with trying to do the bow. I’m not as experienced in crocheting but I do know enough to somewhat decipher most of the pattern. I’m fine until I get to row 4, after that I’m having some difficulty continuing.
I don’t. I plan to one day make videos once I have the equipment.. but that doesn’t help you now. Sorry.
Hi I’ve just made 5 of your bows to put on a blanket soon as it’s done will send you pic thanks for taking the time to post your pattern

end,s on fb… from:Carolne Sue Emerson….
I’m very new at this, but does the numbers in parentheses mean that’s how many times u do it
The numbers in parentheses at the end of each row is telling you how many stitches you crocheted. 🙂
Or coffeeshop.
Hi
I am in love with this pattern . I have made many. I am actually trying to enlarge it so that it may measure about 11 or 12 inches. I tried to tweak your pattern to make it work but could not. I am willing to pay for a pattern if you could explain to me how to do it. Please let me know either way I case you can’t so I can find another pattern. I am creating a Minnie Mouse blanket for my new Grandblessing and the bow has to be large
Thank you in advance
I am so in love with this bow pattern! It turned out adorable. I used worsted weight yarn with a 5.5 mm hook.
My question is how did you put it in the hair? With Bobby pins? Hot glued and alligator clip on?
Hello! I am creating a minnie mouse hat and your bow is PERFECT when i use size 4 yarn and a 5.0mm hook. Can I leave a link to this pattern giving you credit for it? Thanks so much! It will be a free pattern as well.
I love your bow, and it fit perfectly using the worsted weight yarn on a Minnie mouse inspired hat. I am looking to publish a free pattern for my hat. Here is what I plan to say when they get to the bow part:
Bow:
The bow is NOT my pattern. I am going to link to the pattern I used. I feel like “making it my own” or republishing would be a disgrace to the original designer. Click here to go to the free bow pattern: Boutique Bow – Minnie Mouse Inspired, by designer Stitch11. I used my pink yarn with a 5.0mm hook.
Please let me know if this is okay or if you want me to change it at all. Thanks so much!
Have anyone made an instructional video of this bow?
How do you attach the clips for this?
How do I become a member of your group?
what does TOG stand for
Hi, Deborah! TOG means together. For example, HDC-2-TOG would mean HDC 2 stitches together.
